This is the  fourth recognized event in Extremadura after the Holy Week in Cáceres and Mérida and the Carnival in Badajoz.

Activities during Otoño Mágico 2024

The ¨Magical Autumn¨ gives tourist the opportunity to enjoy dreamlike forests or the ¨Vía Verde de la Plata¨ with impressive views. How to go to the Otoño Mágico?

The Ambroz Valley is crossed from north to south by highway A-66, the “Autovía de la Plata”, which runs parallel to highway N-630 and is very well connected to the cities of Plasencia and Cáceres. It is also well connected  Madrid, Salamanca and Seville.

Baños de Montemayor, Hervás, Aldeanueva del Camino and Casas del Monte have direct access from highway A-66 and the rest of the villages, such as Abadía, La Garganta, Gargantilla and Segura de Toro have access from highway N-630. On the whole this is a magical place,  and its festival has been rightfully  called the “Magical Autumn”. Don’t miss it.
